The Care Campaign Fellowship is a program for 7 campaign leaders to work on BLACK's Care in Communities campaign. Care Campaign Fellows have already begun meeting once a week to work on campaign strategies and tactics to meet the goals of the Care in Communities campaign. Each campaign leader will recruit and organize 3 people from BLACK’s base to help meet campaign goals.
The Political Power Network (PPN) Fellowship is how BLACK builds political power. Throughout this month, BLACK will recruit 40 people from across the state to participate in the PPN Fellowship which will begin in August. Together, PPN members will work to contact hundreds of thousands of Black voters across the state through canvassing, phone banks, and text banks.
Grassroots Organizing Leadership Development (GOLD) Fellowship
GOLD is a proactive space for Black organizers to learn about history, care, and conflict to better collaborate in developing their skills and visions for grassroots activism. BLACK will be launching GOLD - Hopkinsville in October 2024. GOLD Hoptown fellows will be leaders in extending the Care in Communities campaign to Hopkinsville.
