BLACK's programs reflect our efforts to move away from individualized, top-down leadership in order to build collective, bottom-up, leaderFULL movements, because each of us has a role to play.

The Campaigns and Voter Engagement programs are how we introduce ourselves to Black Kentuckians across the state. Through these encounters, we learn about issues facing Black Kentuckians and have conversations about organizing and building POWER.

As we connect with people in the comunity, we invite them to join our base. BLACK invests in the leadership development of our base through the Grassroots Organizing Leadership Development (GOLD) program and two additional fellowship programs (the Care Campaign Fellowship, and the Political Power Network Fellowship).

As we grow our base, develop new leaders, and build power together, we offer opportunities for rest, care, joy, healing, and belonging through the Membership & Community Care program.

In 2025, BLACK plans to launch Black Roundtable: a space for Black-led organizations based in Kentucky to collaborate in a healthy way.
