Black Leadership Action Coalition of Kentucky (BLACK) is an inclusive network of Black organizers and activists across the Commonwealth of Kentucky who are abolitionists, anti-capitalist, and believe in representative and collective decision-making.
BLACK organizes to transform and realign current systems of power to meet the needs of all people through the belief that we can work together to build just, equitable, and inclusive socio-economic systems by building relationships with one another, growing in our leadership, and expanding our base.

As an active member of BLACK you will:
- Have an organizing home and political home, where you can connect with other Black activists and organizers in Kentucky;
- Develop a political grounding in Black Queer Feminism, Abolition, and Anti-Capitalism;
- Access to educational resources and training materials to use in your organizations, schools, and communities;
- Strategize with other Black activists and organizers in Kentucky working on similar issues in BLACK's target regions;
- Have opportunities to represent BLACK at regional and national convenings and conferences;
- Be eligible to apply for re-grants and rapid response funds to support organizing capacity;
- Have access to potential employment opportunities as we increase funding;
- Have access to shared BLACK accounts (Hulu, Netflix, Spotify, Apple Podcast, etc.) to access video, music, and podcasts recommendations for learning;
- Participate in organizing that is rooted in healthy community building.
